I found the time to upload these pictures with a grand total of 1, 2, 3, 4, & 5 pages equaling 50 pics. Just click on the above links to scroll through the thumbnails, or you can do it from MSN site. I did edit a few of the pictures, but when I started doing the actual ceremony pictures, I did get a tad bit lazy.
Sorry its been so long since I've posted, but I've been a very busy bee as of late. I received my new Dell 8300 XP today. I didn't get a chance to hook it up until after 8pm this evening. I'm using it now, and it is a blast compared to my old, out of date Gateway.
Last week we made another new purchase...a 30' round, above ground pool. It is a Regatta made by Atlantic Pool Products out of California. Earlier today I had to call Pitt's Ready Mix and order 4 cubic yards of brick sand for the bottom of the pool. After the sand arrived we (Jer, Ashley, and I) made a trip to A-1 Rentals to rent a rear tine tiller. Let me tell you, it was a job to roto till, rake all the grass away from the perimeter of the pool area, and level the remaining dirt. Next job was to wheelbarrel the sand from the front of the house to the back yard. Ashley and I shoveled sand while Kevin and Jer transported and dumped it. After about 8 trips, the thunder clouds rolled in and we had to stop. No sweat of my neck!! I was relieved for the break. The storm was short lived, and it was then I remembered we had forgotten to spray Manage (nutgrass killer) on the dirt. There will only be a few small spots that didn't get sprayed. It will be our luck that is where the nutgrass will rear its ugly tips up through our liner. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it doesn't happen.
I must hit the sack...5:30am is going to be here before I know it! I probably won't get a chance to post anything else until after the return trip to Chicago. I will try to get some pictures posted of the pool progress (which isn't much right now) and of the Chicago trip on my return. Till then.....
