I just got off work an hour ago, and came home to a freezing cold house....Yes, my furnace is on the fritz. We just had the damned thing tuned up last week! We have a contract with HydoAir. The good thing is they will come out twice a year and tune it up, and anytime you have a problem they will come out and repair it, no charge for parts and labor, so far. The bad thing is it costs $200.00 a year for the full contract. So, here I sit in my work clothes and jacket typing away trying to warm up my fingers. They won't be here until after 4:00 to check on it. Hopefully, I will have an update later on this evening. More later....
Yes.....I finally did it!!! I created my own blog. Rita, Jenny, Stepan, and Meredith seem to enjoy theirs so much I decided to give it a whirl. I just hope I'm as faithful to posting as the above mentioned. Besides, I think it would be really interesting after a year's time to be able to look back and see what I've been doing...if anything!
I hope this isn't against Blog rules, but I'm going to start my post with Sunday. Mother called and asked Kevin and I if we would like to come to dinner, and now I know why. She was having Chili made with venison sausage. Mother actually called Saturday with the invite. I bet she called 4 to 5 times after that asking all sorts of questions. Like, how do you make your chili? After I told her I use 2 Alarm chili kit she asked me if I would mind coming over and making it. Mother did grind the deer sausage, and I did the rest. I also stopped at the store to pick up a bag of Fritos, shredded cheddar cheese, jalapenos, and an onion. It was really quite tasty. More later......I worked last night and I am nodding off as I type.
