I'm finally coming to the conclusion that I am not the greatest at keeping up with my blog. I do have two fairly interesting items to report....I am now the proud owner of a 2003 Hyundai Tiburon GT-V6. Yes, I still have the Miata which I am trying to sell. Any takers..only $8000? Kevin traded in his Jeep Wrangler for a new 2002 Dodge Ram (reg. cab) pickup. We didn't realize how badly we needed a pickup till the last one was traded off. We learned our lesson this time.
Kevin and I went to Circuit City tonight, because I had to exchange my nonworking radar detector for another. The origional detector cost $123.00 and change. The clerk told us it was now a discontinued item and to pick out another. I picked out the Whistler for $99.00. When we returned to the exchange counter the clerk told us she couldn't refund any money to us and that it had to be an even trade. "No problem", I said. While I remained at the counter, Kevin went to look for a couple of 2 mile range walkie talkies to take on our trip to Houston for Thanksgiving. You won't believe who came up to the counter!!! I haven't seen him in over 15 yrs. Jeff Peyton, my ex-husband....Wow, he looked like hell! I didn't speak to him and he didn't speak to me, thank God! He had his hair pulled back into a pony tail and was wearing a leather biker jacket. I also noticed when he and the girl he was with left, they were the proud owners of an early model four door with duct tape all across the back, passenger door. I am so surprised to see that he came back to Wichita Falls and stayed. About 10 yrs. ago I had heard from a friend of mine that knew both of us while we were married that he had returned. I just hope never to see him again!
